Turkey Trot

Join us for the 2025 Turkey Trot — a 5K run, gallop, skip, walk, or jog for all ages and abilities! This fun, non-competitive event is all about community, laughter, and getting a head start on your Thanksgiving feast.

Event Details

Date: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27th

Start Time: 9:30 a.m. sharp

Location: HRC Parking Lot (Across from the Community Food Bank of Mineral County) 38 Mullan Road West Superior, MT 59872

Please plan to arrive and register at least 20 minutes early so we can kick off right on time.

Thanks to Town Pump, all monetary donations made to the Community Food Bank of Mineral County will be matched dollar for dollar up to $9,000 through November 30th!  All participants are encouraged to make a monetary donation to the food bank or bring  non-perishable food items. 

Every participant who finishes will receive a Mineral County Turkey Trot sticker for their Brag Board — a perfect keepsake to show off your Thanksgiving spirit!

Costumes are absolutely optional, but we encourage them — the sillier, the better!

The 3rd Annual Mineral County Turkey Trot was held on November 28, 2024.  We collected $738 in monetary donations & 266 pounds of non-perishable food for the Community Food Bank of Mineral County.  All volunteers and participants were entered into a drawing for some great prizes donated by the following businesses: Mineral Energy Co., Mineral Community Hospital, Darlow's Quality Foods, Darlow's Ace Hardware, Walmart, St. Regis Gift Shop & Mountain Grounds Coffee Company.  There were approximately 180 participants & volunteers including the Superior Volunteer Fire Department & Mineral County Sheriff's Office.  Thank you to all who came to gobble before they wobbled!
